Where our PCBs power
robots and autonomous systems

Every joint, sensor and actuator in a modern robot depends on a precisely engineered PCB. We supply the full stack.

01

ADAS & Radar Systems

High-frequency RF boards on Rogers laminates for 77 GHz forward collision, lane departure and autonomous driving sensor fusion.

02

EV Battery Management

Heavy copper BMS boards for cell monitoring, thermal management and charge control in hybrid and full-electric vehicles.

03

Engine & Powertrain Control

High-temperature multilayer boards for ECU and TCU operating near the engine bay from -40°C to +150°C.

04

Infotainment & Digital Cockpit

HDI multilayer boards for in-vehicle displays, connectivity, navigation and digital cluster platforms.

05

Chassis & Safety Systems

IPC Class 3 boards for ABS, ESP, airbag control and active suspension — zero tolerance for in-field failure.

06

Body Control Modules

Standard multilayer PCBs for door locks, window controls, lighting automation and central body electronics.

07

Automotive Lighting

Metal-core and aluminium PCBs for matrix LED headlights and adaptive lighting systems.

08

HVAC & Comfort Systems

Robust multilayer PCBs for climate control, seat adjustment and ambient environment management.

The Engineering Challenge

Why robotics PCB design
demands miniaturisation and reliability together

Robots must be compact, fast and fault-free. Board failures stop production lines and autonomous operations — both are unacceptable.

01

Form Factor vs Functionality

A cobot joint must fit inside a 60 mm diameter housing while housing a motor controller, encoder interface, safety watchdog and fieldbus node. Only any-layer HDI and rigid-flex can deliver this density without compromising electrical performance or reliability.

any-layer HDI · rigid-flex · 60mm housing · 2.5/2.5 mil
02

Real-Time Control Signal Integrity

EtherCAT and SERCOS real-time fieldbus protocols tolerate nanosecond-level jitter. At robot arm servo cycle times of 125 µs, PCB trace routing, differential pair matching and ground plane design directly affect motion quality and repeatability.

EtherCAT · differential pairs · ground plane · ±0.5 mil
03

Durability in Motion — Vibration & IP Rating

Robot end-effectors experience continuous vibration, shock and occasional exposure to coolants and cleaning agents. PCBs must survive IEC 60068 vibration profiles, and stackups must be compatible with conformal coating or IP67 potting compounds.

Starr-Flex-Leiterplatte

The primary technology for robotics — rigid sections for component mounting, flex regions to route around joints and through tight mechanical passages. Eliminates board-to-board connectors (a major failure point in moving machines) and reduces assembly mass.
